From the Putter Files

From The Putter morning Files

Thursday morning:

4:27 a.m.  Woke up.  Breakfast should be promptly at 4:30.   I will not tolerate a late breakfast.  Walked past June’s room and a little paw tried to grab me from underneath the door.  Hmmppppttt.  More kittens, when will this end?

4:35 a.m.  Asked that my breakfast be served to me in Kitty Campus Room.  I will not dignify myself and eat with those Whippersnappers.  One of them actually put his whole body in the plate.  I will take my meals separately for the remainder of this horrid kitten season.

4:45 a.m.   Washed up, used the facilities and am now ready for my morning nap.  I have just discovered some kind of a grey thing trying to climb up here.  Watched him fall down.  I will now have pleasant dreams.

6:00 a.m.  Time for morning rounds.  I see Lisa hard at work.  That is a good thing, she always gets the fur out of the corners.  I cannot stand fur left around.  I have counted some extra small ones today.  What part of Spay and Neuter do people NOT understand.  A little black one with white shoes tried to give me a hug.  A hug!  Promptly whacked him.  There will be no hugs from him again.

7:00 a.m.  Supervising the laundry folding.  Not happy that one of the towels was folded side to side instead of top to bottom.  We must have folding standards.  Am making a note.  May have to run a special class.

7:15 a.m.  Completely unacceptable behavior.  A complete load of folded laundry left on my yellow table and Badu was allowed to sit on the top of it.  Am getting concerned about Badu being allowed to do whatever she wants.  Am making a note.

7:30 a.m.  Had an “incident” caused by all the stress of these little varmints.  My incident was promptly picked up by momma Jacci.  She made good time on this one.  I, of course, got my proper consoling afterwards.  Sometimes the pressure is just so great.

8:00 a.m.  Time for 8:00 a.m. rounds.  Two cabinet doors remain slightly open.  Am making a note.  Had to ask Ada Jane and Magenta to settle down.  They were both in the old oak tree going on and on.  Those two are gossipers.  Sometimes the old girls just need to be reminded to take their “discussions” to the back office.

8:30 a.m.  Time for my mid-morning nap.  Had to climb to the highest leaf on the condo in Kitty Campus room.  It was the only place to escape “them”.

10:00 a.m.  Time for mid-morning rounds.  Completely disgusted by what I found in the litterbox in the office.  One of those tiny creatures has buried a banana in it.  Unacceptable.  Am making a note of it.  The outdoor enclosure has been opened.  Time for some fresh air.  Had a nice conversation with Asha.  We will play bridge later today.

11:00 a.m.  Time for an early lunch.  I will take it in my room.  Darn, those scavengers are still in there.  I will take lunch in the office, on a quiet shelf.

11:30 a.m.  Had to have yet another conversation with Bella, Cutie and Emaline.  They are encouraging such disrespectful behavior.  Let those kittens wash themselves!  Chaos..Utter Chaos.  I must have a nap.
